How to use
Using Hylar salt in one pedicure
Six steps a new tech can follow from the very first client.
-
Prepare the tub
Clean the tub and fill with warm water to the ankle. Test with your wrist – comfortably warm, never hot.
-
Add Hylar
Use the amount on the package, sprinkle evenly and stir to dissolve. Invite the client to smell the herbs.
-
Soak
Let the client soak for 10–15 minutes while you set up. A warm towel on the shoulders is a nice touch.
-
Gentle salt rub
Take a pinch of undissolved salt and rub gently over heels and soles. Skip this step on cracked or broken skin or sensitive clients.
-
Rinse and dry
Rinse with clean water, pat dry, then continue the pedicure and foot massage.
-
Clean the tub
Drain, clean and disinfect the tub after every client according to your State Board rules.
For external use only. Do not use on open wounds. Clients who are pregnant, diabetic or have circulation problems should check with their doctor first. Stop use if irritation occurs.
